Aim of the Course
The Flight Instructor Training Program aims to equip pilots with the advanced teaching skills, instructional techniques, and in-depth aviation knowledge necessary to train aspiring pilots effectively. This course is designed according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) standards, ensuring that graduates are fully prepared to instruct students for both Private Pilot (PPL) and Commercial Pilot Licenses (CPL).
At Askari Flying Academy we offer a comprehensive Flight Instructor Training (FI) program designed to prepare experienced pilots for a rewarding career in aviation instruction. Our goal is to develop skilled, confident instructors who can pass on their knowledge and passion for flying to the next generation of pilots.
The course is conducted using a combination of real-world flight experiences and classroom-based learning. This structure allows aspiring flight instructors to master both theoretical and practical aspects of flight instruction.

Theoretical training is an integral part of the Flight Instructor course. Under the guidance of CAA-approved instructors, students will cover:
Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI)
Learn the principles of effective teaching, how to structure lessons, and how to adapt to different learning styles.
Flight Maneuvers and Techniques
In-depth study of how to demonstrate and explain flight maneuvers to students, including advanced emergency procedures.
Classroom Management & Student Assessment
Techniques for managing a classroom, evaluating student progress, and ensuring training standards are met.
Aviation Safety and Regulations
Study of both local and international aviation regulations, with an emphasis on ensuring safety and compliance in all training activities.
Course Duration & Requirements
The Flight Instructor course typically requires a minimum of 30 hours of flight time dedicated to instruction, including dual and solo flights, as well as ground school training.
Entry Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR).
- Medical Fitness Certificate as per CAA regulations.
- Minimum of 180+ total flight hours.

- Medical Certificate
- Educational Certificates
- 4 passport-sized photos
- National ID (CNIC)
